About

What is HahaYoureDead.Net all about?
HahaYoureDead.net is a blog written by a “PunkRock Conservative”.
hope to provide links and articles to help keep everyone (especially in my ‘scene’ and those from my generation) updated on important issues that are going on in the world. I’ll throw in the occasional “LOLz” here and there, because in these troubled times… sometimes we all need a laugh. 😐

Why the name “HahaYoureDead”?
Because it’s a Green Day song and Green Day is my favourite band. Yeah, take that Brian Kilmeade.

How do you get your sleep at night?
How did you get your noose so tight?
Like chewing on tinfoil its so much fun
Gonna be dead before your gone.

‘Cause look how things have gotten
And I’ll be happy so I wont pretend
And I’ll be cheering that you’re going down
And I’ll be laughing, I’ll be laughing.

How many feelings can you steal?
Gotta be part of your appeal.
I can see through you cause you’re wearing thin
Like chewing on tinfoil once again.

‘Cause look how things have gotten
And I’ll be happy so I wont pretend
And I’ll be cheering that you’re going down
And I’ll be laughing, I’ll be laughing.

Ha ha you’re dead
And I’m so happy
In loving memory
Of your demise
When your ship is going down
I’ll go out and paint the town
Ha ha you’re dead
Ha ha you’re dead
Ha ha you’re dead

Ha ha you’re dead
The joke is over
You were an asshole
And now you’re gone
As your ship is going down
I’ll stand by and watch you drown
Ha ha you’re dead
You’re gonna be dead
Just remember what I said
Ha ha you’re dead
Ha ha you’re dead
Ha ha you’re dead

Mike Dirnt – the bass player – is my musical hero. I’ve been playing the bass since I was thirteen!

DangerB_@hotmail.com 🙂 I check it pretty often. I should put it on the main page somewhere, but like I said – I’m in the middle of transferring a lot of stuff from the other site and updating with some new widgets (blogroll) and other various things.

But, yeah. You can contact me there. 🙂

Great blog DangerB. I need to thank Fishleg. Thanks for being here for us….I’m going to enjoy this!

    • September 7, 2009 1:10 am

Ahh, good ol’ Fishleg. I sure love him. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! Without readers – what good is a blog, anyway? I am here for your (nonsexual) pleasure! I hope you enjoy my “Irish Punkrock kid” rage filled rants from time to time! 🙂

How’s the Obambi crowd? My time has been sucked DRY – especially with the Air Force and running a blog – and a variety of other projects. Tell everyone I said hey! I hope all is well with everyone!

I really liked Green Day back in the day when they didn’t get political. I still enjoy some of their newer songs, but the old ones are the best.

I’ve been a fan since I was a kid. Back in ’94! My how time flies. American Idiot, ideologically, was rough for me to get into, since I voted for Bush and I’m not “Anti-War” (although I can’t say anyone is ever “FOR-war”). It does have some really great music to it, though. I’m a lot more attached to the older stuff. Have you heard anything from 21st Century Breakdown? It’s a pretty good album. 🙂

Oh, good. You named it after a song from when Greenday was still punk rock. I was about to rage at you for a minute there.

Even still, I’m a huge Green Day fan. Ever since I heard them for the first time when I was… God.. I was TEN.

      O_O I feel old now.

I feel the same every time a kid tells me about how amazing and alternative their music taste is. Then they tell me they listen post-American Idiot Green Day and Oasis. If you’re interested in it, on my blog every once in a while I’ll do a music review on x-underground band, mostly so far I’ve done sludge metal reviews, but if you like I can start putting up reviews of different Hardcore, Crust, and other punk reviews.

God. Music these days; especially the NEW stuff… SUCKS. I can’t find “new music” to save my LIFE. Well, I could, but who wants to spend hours surfing the radio stations hoping to find something tasteful. It’s all screamy or whiny or just… lame.

As a musician, I’m a fan of a variety “styles” of music. Green Day has been my favourite band for… God. Over half my life. I grew up listening to their stuff; and as a conservative, naturally, I disagreed with a lot of their personal politics, but that didn’t mean the music and talent disappeared. I love the dynamics of their new stuff, but my favourite tunes are mostly from their older stuff.

Truefax: I got to play bass on stage at a Green Day show once. Best day ever. The only thing I could manage to say in the middle of all the excitement (and after having a bouncer lift me out of the crowd by my belt) was “Billie Joe’s zipper is down”.

Leave it to DangerB to act like a knob during a once in a lifetime opportunity. “BILLIE JOE’S ZIPPER IS DOWN”?! THAT’S WHAT I SAID?!?!

    *facepalm*

If you want new music that’s good, tell me what you’re down with and I’ll find it.
Looking to the mainstream isn’t the greatest idea to find good new music.

I thought you would like this. Our lovely Nancy Pelosi sent me some lovely mail today asking for a campaign donation. I laughed, and then used it as a piece of scrap paper to super glue a greeting card together. I wish I could respond with a largely fake blank check just telling her how truly awful she is. But, that would involve spending money… On her. And that would just result in something stupid.

    • June 30, 2010 11:40 pm

Haha. I love it. Personally, I would have stuffed an envelope with monopoly money and written a brief memo informing her that the monopoly money is worth more than the American dollar thanks to their insane spending.

Or I would have printed one of those LOL dollars that has her ugly mug in the middle; and it’s usually for some nutty amount like $67,000,000,000

SUCH good ideas. It even came with a fancy letter bashing Republicans and bragging about the health care. I should just send her the ticking clock from my doctor’s waiting room.

Send a McDonalds employment application and wish her the best of luck.
Bob A. Our employment mailing is scheduled for tomorrow to both Senators and Representative. Don’t know how many will participate.

Figures. I get “republican” crap asking for donations and support all the time; but I’m a CONSERVATIVE. A CONSERVATIVE who is incredibly disappointed with the “right side” and the “representatives” — the way the entire “party” (Republican — Conservative. Very different, but not to a lot of people) has acted recently. No, not just recently. For quite some time. The best since Reagan has been Bush 43, and he’s not my ideal “Conservative representative.

They always end their whiny bitch-letters with something along the lines of “PLEASE! DON’T LET US DOWN NOW!!!”

I always sign “$0 donations” and write in “It is YOU who have let US down.”

Screw them. They’re not representing me, so they’re not going to be supported by me.
