Iran is now a ‘nuclear state’ says Ahmadinejad as thousands take to the streets
Article: UK Daily Mail

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addresses tens of thousands of Iranians gathered in Azadi (Freedom) Square in southwestern Tehran today, marking the 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution

Iran is now a ‘nuclear state’, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced this morning.

He spoke as tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Tehran to mark the 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution.

Despite fears of violence, opposition supporters found themselves largely overwhelmed by the clerical regime and pro-government demonstrators.

The massive security clampdown appeared to succeed in preventing protesters from converging into a cohesive demonstrations.

Large numbers of riot police, members of the Revolutionary Guard and Basij militiamen, some on motorcycles, deployed in back streets near key squares and major avenues in the capital to move against protesters.

This morning Ahmadinejad told scores of cheering Iranians that the Islamic Republic is capable of producing weapons-grade uranium.

He said it had produced its first batch of 20 percent enriched uranium – and had the capability to enrich to far higher levels at its Natanz plant.

Enriching uranium produces fuel for a nuclear power plants but can also be used to create material for atomic weapons.

The international community has warned Iran against further enrichment activities, threatening new UN sanctions.

The Iranian leader insisted the material was not intended to produce an atomic bomb, however.

We have the capability to enrich uranium more than 20 percent or 80 percent (the level needed to create an atomic bomb),’
he said in a speech broadcast live on state television.

‘But we don’t enrich (to this level) because we don’t need it…

‘When we say we do not manufacture the bomb, we mean it, and we do not believe in manufacturing a bomb,’ he told the crowd. ‘If we wanted to manufacture a bomb we would announce it.’

If you’re dumb enough to believe Ahmadinejad… well, you just might be the next Barack Hussein Obama. Now, if we had anyone else in office – Republican, Democrat, whatever, I might believe that Ahmadinejad would not “announce” his intentions of manufacturing bombs; but BarryO? Dude, you could walk right up to his ugly face and scream “I AM PLANNING THE NEXT 9/11 ATTACK IN THE NAME OF JIHAD” and he’d offer to sit down and talk to you without preconditions for a beer to discuss what’s troubling you. He calls it “reaching out”, the rest of us call is gross incompetence.

Which brings me to this:

Yes, President Bush. We miss you.

If YOU were still in office we wouldn’t constantly be emboldening our enemies. They wouldn’t be taken seriously – and they certainly wouldn’t have made it THIS far in their nuclear development. The polls wouldn’t show that majority of us are terrified and no longer feel safe. Now it’s more of a matter of wondering “when” the next successful attack is going to happen rather than wondering “if” there would ever be another one. WTFery at it’s finest.

I’m not sure Iran’s leader cares who is sitting in the Presidential Chair. I have seen him in interviews and he seems to just have a sense of entitlement and want for his country to be an upstanding nation.
I hope he never plans on using the knowledge they have acquired to make an atomic bomb. There are enough unfortunate events happening in the world currently.

I don’t know whether or not he CARES, but who IS sitting in the Presidential Chair. Displaying signs of weakness is just that – weakness. Do you think that if President Bush was still in office that the Iranians would be as open as they are about their “new found” nuclear manufacturing abilities? No. Why? Because Bush was GOOD at war. He knew it needed to be won. He knew victory was necessary. I’m sorry if you don’t like it, but it’s no secret that Barack Obama is seen as WEAK.

This knowledge to acquire nukes and develop may have just SURFACED, but it’s not news. It’s all about timing and strategy. All I can say is… well, I don’t believe Ahmadinejad when he says he has no intentions of developing a bomb (or several bombs)… Just look at how much they pound Israel; who happen to be our Ally.

      Colour me scared.

You better bet your ass that Ahmadinejad CARES who sitting the WH…GWB may have many things but a weakling coward is not one of them. BHO/Lucifer is weak and a coward…and Iran knows it. islam likes the weak horse…they will cultivate that weakness for/to their own end.

Amen JC. A coward and a weakling are two things President Bush was not. Never. Ever. Ever. Our enemies knew their place, and this shit would never be going down if we had a President that showed the same strong stance against our enemies. Ahmadinejad showing off his nuclear (nuke-ya-yer) capabilities in front of the entire world? Not a chance.

God does not like this one bit.
    Evil is on the march.

NOBODY should like this one bit. Well, Satan probably does – and the ignorant masses who dream of “peace” all across the Earth.

Yeah. The Earth is HOW old, now? How many times has “peace” worked? As many times as Socialism and Communism. None.

The Bible clearly states there will be NO PEACE on earth until Christ Jesus returns….
It is a sin to proclaim PEACE when we should always be prepared for war.
War will happen until the end of this age.

    Fishleg,

    Amen!
