Obama: ‘We cannot fully know’ motive of Ft. Hood shooter; in address on killings, president celebrates diversity of armed forces

Article: Washington Examiner

President Obama says “we cannot fully know” what led Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan to kill 13 people and wound 38 others at Fort Hood, Texas Thursday.

Hasan reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar!” before the killings, wrote Internet postings justifying Muslim suicide bombings, considered U.S. forces the enemy, and opposed American involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan as wars on Islam. His rampage at Ft. Hood has the markings of an act of Islamic terrorism.

But in his weekly address, Obama says, “We cannot fully know what leads a man to do such a thing.” And while the killings were “heartbreaking” and “despicable” and “devastating,” the president says, it is important to remember not only that Hasan’s fellow soldiers responded bravely in coming to the aid of the wounded but also that “Americans of every race, faith and station” have served in the U.S. armed forces. “They are Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus and nonbelievers,” Obama says. “They reflect the diversity that makes this America.”

Obama says he is closely monitoring the investigation “into what led to this terrible crime.” He has ordered American flags at the White House and federal buildings to fly at half-staff from now until Veterans’ Day, next Wednesday….

Excuse me, BHussein Obama? “We cannot fully know what leads a man to do such a thing.”?? Are you fucking joking us? Here, let me help you out. JIHAD is what leads a man Jihadist Muslim fucking sack of shit to do “such a thing”. You should know… he IS one of your brothers.

Well, you’re right and you’re wrong.
Of course it was some personal desire to wage holy war that led this man to his actions. Actions which were despicable.
But what the president is saying, I think, is that most muslims aren’t like this, and that because one wackaloon went on a shooting spree doesn’t mean that we should fear, discriminate against, or otherwise act any differently towards the rest of the muslims in our military who are hard working people who put there lives on the line protecting this country. This country, which was originally settled by people looking for freedom from religious persecution. This country, founded on the ideal that all men are created equal, regardless of their creed, color, or country of origin.

Well, there’s no denying this nutjob committed this massacre in the name of some sort of Holy War, and yes, the actions were beyond despicable.

However, what I think you’re overlooking, or aren’t aware of is the fact that this ‘wackaloon’ made it very clear and very public of his desire to commit Jihad against the infidels.

He’s had a history of being an extremist in his beliefs.

His main reason for “fearing” a deployment to Iraq was that he didn’t want to have to fight his Muslim brothers. He vocally praised the shooters at the Arkansas military recruitment center, he compared suicide bombers to American soldiers, and was a conscientious objector. That there isn’t acceptable for military personnel – who are asked if they are, or ever have been conscientious objectors on their applications. There is no draft; and wasn’t at the time he enlisted voluntarily. The main duties of a soldier is to fight, just like the main duties of a doctor is to heal. Just like the main duties of a painter is to paint.

He wasn’t treated differently because of his religion, but because of his vocal opposition to American soldiers fighting against his brothers.

This country was also founded on Christian beliefs; which is why all people are created equal. By who? By God. It’s Biblical, and though we do have separation of church and state; there’s no denying where the morals and ethics we have as a nation. However, based on this nutjob’s extremist beliefs he was beyond the shadow of a doubt a jihadist fuck – and made it very clear where he stood. The Koran does promote the murder of infidels; and that’s just what he did.
